I attended the University of Alabama for both undergraduate and graduate studies, graduating in 2009 with my MLIS. I was hired in my current position in April of 2011. I was very excited at the opportunity to start a library from scratch, cataloging the original collection, writing policy, planning strategically, etc. Additionally, I'm very active professionally, in ALLA, ALHeLA, and Beta Phi Mu. I'm married to my lovely wife, Sarah, and we have two kitties and a puppy.
