I am an art historian interested in spatiality, architecture, and identity, especially related to Precolumbian societies. I have worked at the Getty Center, taught at the Atlanta College of Art and Auburn University, and twice been a Fellow in Pre-Columbian Studies at Dumbarton Oaks. In July I attended a Getty Digital Humanities Institutes for art historians at George Mason University. I am working on a book about spatiality at the Maya site of Chichen Itza in Yucatan, Mexico (University Press of Colorado).
